MY COACHING FOR YOUMC4Y P. Hoenig

Team development

A good team is more than the sum of its members. I support teams in clarifying roles, communicating openly and making the most of their strengths together.

What it is about

Teams change: new members, new tasks, new leadership. Every change throws collaboration somewhat off balance.

In team development, we create a safe space to talk about expectations, roles and tensions – and to turn this into binding agreements.

Typical situations

  • A team is being newly put together
  • A new manager takes over
  • Roles and responsibilities are unclear
  • The atmosphere in the team is tense
  • Collaboration between business departments and IT needs to improve

Frequently asked questions

When does team development make sense?

Whenever a team is forming anew, tasks or leadership change, or collaboration is noticeably faltering. Well-functioning teams also benefit from focused reflection.

Is team development the same as a team event?

No. An event mainly strengthens team spirit. Team development works specifically on roles, communication and collaboration and ends with binding agreements.

What happens to things said in confidence?

Confidentiality comes first. What is said in individual interviews is only fed into the workshop anonymously and with consent.
