What it is about

New software, new workflows, new roles: most changes do not fail because of the technology, but because of a lack of acceptance. If you do not take people with you on the journey, or do so in the wrong way, you will encounter resistance, delays and, in the end, solutions that nobody uses.

As an enterprise architect, I know the business and technical side of change; as a business coach and change manager (M. A.), I know the human side. I bring this combination to your project.

Typical situations

  • Introduction of new business software, such as ERP or CRM
  • Restructuring, new roles or merged departments
  • Digitalisation of previously paper-based processes
  • A change of leadership or business succession
  • Noticeable resistance in an ongoing project

How I work

  2. Understand those affectedA stakeholder analysis and conversations show how people experience the current situation and what they need.
  3. Design the changeWe develop a change story, a participation and communication plan, and roles for change ambassadors.
  4. Pilot and adjustPilot areas test the new approach; feedback flows directly into the planning.
  5. Embed and measureNew routines are anchored in processes, leadership and KPIs.

Frequently asked questions

What is business change management?

Business change management is the structured planning and guidance of organisational change. It ensures that new structures, processes or systems are understood, accepted and used in the long term by employees.

How does it differ from change management according to ITIL?

ITIL change management (now called “Change Enablement”) controls technical changes to IT services, such as updates or new system versions. Business change management concerns organisational and human change. The two complement each other when new IT is introduced.

Do you implement the change yourself?

No. I advise, plan and accompany. Operational implementation lies with you or your partners; I am happy to help you select suitable partners.

How long does change support take?

That depends on the scope – from individual workshops to support across several project phases. In the initial consultation, we clarify what makes sense for your project.

Let's talk about your plans
